Hilltop Manor

Hilltop Manor Care Home is a family run business established in 1988 specialising in care for the elderly, and those suffering from dementia. We offer a safe, secure homely environment. Our inspection reports are available to view online at www.cqc.org.uk.

The family is involved in the day-to-day management and running of the home. We are supported by our deputy manager, care team, catering team and ancillary staff.

Our aim is to provide a high standard of care on a personalised basis taking into account every individual’s preferences, privacy and maintaining dignity.

Accommodation

All our bedrooms are tastefully decorated and fully furnished and provide a warm, modern and light environment. Residents are encouraged to personalise their room with small items of furniture, china, pictures etc. We have single and twin bedrooms available, the majority of which have ensuite facilities. All bedrooms are accessible for wheelchair users and are fitted with TV points and a call bell. We also have two passenger lifts providing easy disabled access around the home.

Gardens

The attractive secure garden is well tended with outside seating for the summer months. We also have a gazebo, and patio areas.

Meals

We provide a wide variety of healthy and nutritious home cooked meals. All meals are prepared daily using fresh produce by experienced in-house cooks. Individual’s tastes are taken into consideration and special diets can be catered for. Hot drinks and snacks are readily available on request day and night.

Staffing

Highly trained staff are available 24 hours a day, most of who have worked for us for many years. All are working towards a recognised vocational qualification. The home maintains strong emphasis on training. We have an activities co-ordinator who tailors activities to the needs and preferences of clients. These include outings, religious services, seasonal crafts and entertainers.
